Our brand, Making Change was established in 2019 and was created to provided a range of services designed to empower individuals and foster personal development. These include Creative Futures Workshops focused on mental health and creativity, the Guiding Light Mentorship Program, podcast production, digital marketing support, and our most recent project Artistic Resilience: Healing Through Music and Digital Expression, a groundbreaking arts initiative providing a platform for users to share their stories through music, sound art, and digital storytelling.
Our C.I.C was established in 2023 along with an expansion to our new location on Wharfside Leisure Complex and recruitment of new facilitators. This transition marks an exciting evolution from a creative studio to a comprehensive wellbeing hub. Our expanded offerings now include pathways into employment, alongside our existing creative workshops and mentorship programs.
Our work is deeply rooted in collaboration with organisations such as Arts Council England, Birmingham Children's Trust, Birmingham & Solihull Health Foundation Trust, Catalyst for Change, World Reimagined, Red Earth Collective, and Birmingham City Council. Through these partnerships, we have created safe spaces for mental health discussions and provide opportunities for individuals to connect, grow, and build confidence, exposing them to mentoring and work experience.

Our Space
Our space is now a creative wellbeing hub located Canalside in South Birmingham.
Our space has a green screen, recording studio with a soundproof vocal booth, fully equipped podcasting studio, 3D printing/laser engraving facilities, plasma screen TVs, high performance PCs, live streaming capacity, various collaborative spaces and a kitchen.
Our podcasting studio is fully equipped with;
